The IKA Pette multi 8 x 10 – 100 µl is designed for laboratories that prioritize both workflow efficiency and user comfort. Operating on the air-displacement principle, it features 8 independent channels that allow for the simultaneous processing of entire microplate rows. The internal mechanism is built with a DLC-coated (Diamond-Like Carbon) stainless steel piston and tip cones, providing high surface hardness and minimal friction for a smooth, low-effort pipetting stroke.
To support ergonomic health and prevent Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI), the pipette comes with three interchangeable handles (small, medium, and large), allowing users to adapt the tool to their specific hand size. Volume adjustment is managed via a central multifunction button that also functions as a secure volume lock and an easy-access tip ejector for both right- and left-handed users. The unit is color-coded yellow, fully autoclavable at 121°C, and features a large mechanical display for high visibility.
