The Twister Set 4 represents the largest standard configuration in the IKA Twister series, offering four fully interconnected stirring positions while maintaining a minimal footprint. Each drive unit is equipped with a chemically resistant glass surface and a 360° LED ring display that communicates speed, power output, and viscosity trends without the need for a conventional screen.
Built around a modular leader–follower architecture, the system can be expanded to meet growing laboratory demands, allowing up to 30 Twister units to be linked and controlled as a unified mixing platform.

Intelligent Vessel Detection
Integrated beaker recognition automatically initiates stirring when a glass vessel is placed on the surface and pauses operation when removed.
Wide & Extreme Speed Range
Adjustable from 100 to 3000 rpm, enabling gentle mixing, rapid homogenization, and effective handling of viscous media up to 500 mPas.
Automatic Reverse Rotation
Programmable direction changes enhance mixing performance for difficult or non-homogeneous samples.
Robust IP66 Washdown Design
Fully sealed, dust-tight construction resistant to powerful water jets, allowing safe cleaning under running water and reliable operation in high-humidity environments (up to 40 °C).
Multi-Functional Expandability
Optional accessories (sold separately) allow each drive unit to be converted into a Vortex mixer or Orbital shaker, extending the system’s versatility.
