The IKA Pette fix 1000 µl is engineered for professional laboratory environments where reliability and long-term durability are essential. It utilizes an air-displacement principle and is constructed with high-performance materials; specifically, it utilizes a PPSU (polysulfone) piston and PPS (polyphenylene sulfide) cone. These materials are characterized by high levels of chemical resistance and stiffness, ensuring consistent performance even with aggressive reagents.
To accommodate different users and prevent hand fatigue, the pipette includes three interchangeable handles (small, medium, and large).
