Operating on the air-displacement principle, the pipette is constructed with a DLC-coated (Diamond-Like Carbon) stainless steel piston and tip cone. This advanced surface coating delivers exceptional hardness and ultra-low friction, significantly minimizing mechanical wear while maintaining a consistently low operating force, even after prolonged use.
To accommodate different hand sizes and reduce operator fatigue, the pipette is supplied with three interchangeable handles (small, medium, and large) made from different materials, allowing users to tailor the grip to their personal preference. The unit is color-coded in yellow for quick volume identification and is fully autoclavable at 121 °C for safe and effective sterilization.
