The IKA C-Mag HS 4 is the most compact entry in the C-Mag series, featuring a 100 x 100 mm glass-ceramic heating plate. This seamless surface provides superior resistance to acids, bases, and solvents while ensuring rapid heat transfer. Its small footprint makes it an ideal choice for crowded laboratory benches or fume hoods where space is limited.
Safety is a primary focus of the HS 4 design. It includes a “Hot Top” indicator that flashes when the surface temperature exceeds 50°C to prevent accidental burns, as well as an elevated control panel that protects the internal electronics from spilled liquids. The unit also features a fixed safety circuit that automatically shuts down the heater if the temperature reaches 550°C.
