The Twister Set 1 introduces a new, intuitive way to interact with laboratory stirring equipment. Instead of a conventional display, it uses a touch-sensitive glass surface combined with a circular LED ring to clearly visualize speed, power, and operating status. Its flat, robust construction is rated IP66, allowing safe cleaning under running water and reliable operation in demanding environments, including incubators. The unit is designed for mixing liquids up to 5 liters with viscosities of up to 500 mPa·s, making it suitable for a wide range of laboratory applications. Main Features Modular Expansion Capability Multiple Twister units can be connected to form a multi-position stirring system with up to 30 stirring positions, controlled via an intelligent leader–follower principle. Multi-Functional Platform With optional accessories, the base unit can be converted into a vortex mixer or an orbital shaker, increasing versatility without additional bench space. Automatic Vessel Detection Integrated beaker recognition automatically starts the stirring process when a glass vessel is placed on the surface, improving workflow efficiency and consistency. Reverse Rotation Function Automatically alternates stirring direction at defined intervals, enhancing mixing performance for viscous or difficult-to-homogenize samples.
