High speed laboratory mini centrifuge oil separator 8wells 10000rpm centrifuge
The Whirl-pak LACHOI High-Speed Mini Centrifuge is a compact, high-performance benchtop microcentrifuge designed for rapid sample separation. Capable of reaching speeds up to 10,000 RPM, it features a versatile 8-well rotor system that accommodates microtubes and PCR strips, making it an essential tool for molecular biology, clinical diagnostics, and oil/sediment separation in small volumes
Description
Description
The LACHOI High-Speed Mini series (often referenced as the LC-Mini-10K Pro) is engineered for efficiency in labs where space is at a premium but speed is non-negotiable. It excels at routine “spin-downs” and applications requiring higher centrifugal forces than standard mini-centrifuges can provide. With a maximum Relative Centrifugal Force (RCF) of approximately 5,600 xg, it is effective for separating components in liquid mixtures, including oil separation and serum preparation.
Its design prioritizes safety and user convenience, featuring a transparent lid for sample monitoring and an automatic braking system that halts the rotor immediately when the cover is opened.
Key Features
High-Speed Performance: Delivers a powerful maximum speed of 10,000 RPM, significantly reducing processing time for micro-volume samples.
Dual Rotor Versatility: Includes two interchangeable rotors to support various workflows:
Standard Angle Rotor: 8-well capacity for 1.5ml/2.0ml microtubes (also includes adapters for 0.5ml and 0.2ml tubes).
PCR Strip Rotor: Accommodates 2 × 8 × 0.2ml PCR centrifugal strips.
Intelligent Digital Interface: Features a clear LCD display for precise monitoring of speed and time, with an adjustable timer range from 1 minute to 119 minutes.
Advanced Safety Systems: * Cover Protection: The motor automatically cuts power and stops the rotor if the lid is opened during operation.
Soft-Start/Stop: Smooth acceleration and deceleration protect delicate samples from re-suspension.
Low-Noise Operation: Powered by a DC permanent magnet motor, it operates quietly (typically <60 dB) and generates minimal heat, ensuring the integrity of temperature-sensitive biological samples.
Compact & Stable: Its small footprint (approx. 180 x 145 x 110 mm) fits easily on any benchtop, while rubber suction-cup feet prevent "walking" or vibration during high-speed runs.
Easy Maintenance: The rotors are designed for quick, tool-free replacement, and the sleek ABS housing is resistant to common laboratory chemicals and easy to disinfect.
