The IKA Pette multi 12 x 20 – 200 µl is designed to maximize productivity in modern laboratories without compromising on accuracy. With 12 independent channels, it allows for the simultaneous processing of a full column of a 96-well plate, significantly reducing the time required for serial dilutions or reagent transfers.
At its core, the pipette features DLC-coated (Diamond-Like Carbon) stainless steel pistons and tip cones. This advanced coating provides exceptional surface hardness and ultra-low friction, ensuring that the pipetting force remains light and consistent over long periods of use.
To support long-term user health, the pipette includes an interchangeable handle system. Each unit is delivered with three grips (small, medium, and large) so the user can tailor the device to their hand size, reducing the risk of repetitive strain injuries (RSI). The volume is adjusted via a multifunction button that also functions as a secure volume lock and a centralized tip ejector accessible to both left- and right-handed users. The unit is color-coded yellow, is fully autoclavable at 121°C, and features a large, clear mechanical display.
