It utilizes an air-displacement principle with a DLC-coated (Diamond-Like Carbon) stainless steel piston and tip cone. This high-performance coating provides extreme hardness and low friction, which not only protects against wear and corrosion but also ensures that the force required for pipetting remains consistently low over time.
To prevent hand fatigue during long sessions, the pipette is delivered with three interchangeable handles of varying shapes and materials, allowing the user to adapt the tool to their specific hand size. The unit is fully autoclavable at 121°C and features a large, clear display. For streamlined asset management, each unit has a unique QR code on the housing for quick scanning of serial numbers and calibration data.
