Ika Twister Set 2
The IKA Twister Set 2 is a modular, high-performance magnetic stirring system consisting of two interconnected Twister units powered by a single supply. Designed for efficient dual-position mixing, it combines a compact pancake-style design, intuitive touch-sensitive glass controls, and stirring speeds of up to 3000 rpm, all while saving valuable laboratory bench space.
Description
Description
The Twister Set 2 is ideal for laboratories that require multiple stirring positions without increasing equipment footprint. Each unit is ultra-slim at just 24 mm in height and operates within a flexible leader–follower modular architecture. One unit can control both stirrers simultaneously, or each unit can be programmed independently to suit different applications.
Built for demanding lab environments, the system features a chemically resistant glass surface and an IP66 protection rating, allowing safe operation in high-humidity conditions and easy cleaning under running water.
Main Features
Dual-Position Mixing System
Includes two magnetic stirring drives that can operate simultaneously using a single power source, enabling efficient mixing of two samples at once.
Intelligent Vessel Detection
Automatically recognizes when a glass vessel is placed on the surface to start stirring, and pauses operation when the vessel is removed for added safety and convenience.
360° LED Control Interface
A dynamic circular LED ring visually displays speed, power, and operating status without the need for a traditional LCD screen.
Bidirectional & Reverse Stirring
Supports clockwise and counter-clockwise rotation, including an automatic reverse mode to improve homogenization of viscous or challenging liquids.
Extreme Durability & Washdown Safety
Features a high-strength, chemically resistant glass top and a fully sealed, dust-tight housing protected against powerful water jets (IP66).
Scalable Modular Design
Can be expanded by adding additional Twister units, creating a multi-position system with up to 30 stirring stations as laboratory requirements evolve.
